$130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
Paladin is now LHH Recruitment Solutions! We are partnering with our Northern California health policy organization client to recruit a Senior Communications and Public Affairs Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, working anywhere based in California and traveling the state. In this role, you will curate all communications for the organization and lead a small team in execution of PR, media and similar campaigns. Your primary goal will be shaping organizational reputation through media and PR strategy, securing placement, managing crisis communications and ensuring cohesion across the organization's brand and message. Your team will guide digital communications, including social media strategy and digital reputation management. You will manage a small team of direct reports and should have experience in people management previously, as hiring, coaching and budget management for the department will be under your purview. To be a fit, you should bring 7+ years of public affairs and communications experience working in policy, civic or similar non-profit organizations. Experience in health policy is strongly preferred.

While this role is primarily remote, being California based and comfortable traveling across the state is absolutely required, and this role will feel closer to hybrid because of this. Compensation ranges based on level of experience and relevant industry background from $130,000 to $150,000 with potential flexibility for an incredible match.
