A leading company in e-signature seeks a Government Affairs professional to manage their global program. The role involves strategy development, project management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and advocacy. This position offers flexibility with remote work options.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing on a global government affairs program consistent with company strategy, meeting goals and objectives, and developing organizational capability. They will engage with external lobbyists and consultants, as well as collaborate with internal subject matter experts and senior leaders of the company on government affairs initiatives that provide direct and measurable value to the business. They will provide project management, policy direction, and compliance support to the government affairs program.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Global Director of Government Affairs.
Responsibility
Work cross-functionally to assist the Head of Global Government Affairs in setting the strategy for the government relations program each year, consistent with business objectives
Engage internal issue experts, trade associations, coalitions, and contract lobbyists and consultants to implement the strategic plan
Provide support to strengthen the growth of the company through intelligence gathering, public policy advocacy, and community engagement
Manage Docusign's internal government affairs processes to include internal government affairs working groups, newsletters, political law compliance, lobbying disclosure activities and other cross functional government affairs activities
Evaluate, track, and report out on pending legislation and regulation, survey and communicate its impact on the organization, and develop the organization's response
Ensure that Docusign builds and maintains strategic relationships with federal, state, and local authorities and regulatory agency heads who are most relevant to the business
Manage trade association and coalition activities to ensure a return on investment and alignment with the overall strategy
Manage Docusign’s political law compliance process through management of federal, state, and local lobbying disclosure requirements, working in partnership with the compliance team and consultants
Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $126,900.00 - $197,800.00 base salary
Illinois and Colorado: $120,800.00 - $166,100.00 base salary
Washington, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $120,800.00 - $174,525.00 base salary
Washington DC: $126,900.00 - $174,525.00 base salary
