Manager of Regulatory, Quality Assurance, and Risk Management

Are you an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and risk management? Join our team and play a vital role in advancing patient safety, organizational compliance, and healthcare excellence.

We’re seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Manager of Regulatory, QA, and Risk Management to lead key initiatives, support our mission of high-quality patient care, and ensure our organization consistently meets the highest standards of performance and compliance.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee and enhance the organization’s regulatory, quality assurance, and risk management programs
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and track outcomes using data-driven methodologies
  • Serve as a liaison for Joint Commission and regulatory survey readiness
  • Collaborate with leadership, physicians, and staff to identify risks and implement effective solutions
  • Conduct investigations and support corrective actions related to safety events and compliance concerns
  • Ensure adherence to state and federal laws including HIPAA, Stark Law, EMTALA, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, and more
  • Provide training and education to staff on compliance standards and risk mitigation strategies
  • Serve as an internal resource for addressing complex regulatory and ethical issues
  • Manage professional liability claims and coordinate with legal counsel as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field (RN, JD, or MBA preferred)
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years recent experience in a hospital setting managing regulatory, quality assurance, and risk management, or equivalent legal healthcare compliance experience
  • Certifications: Certification in Healthcare Compliance (or relevant area) within 1 year of hire required
  • Preferred Licenses/Certs: CPHQ, HCQM, or CPQPS (within 2 years of hire)
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality improvement methodologies
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods; lift up to 30 lbs
