Note: This is a 100% remote role for candidates based ideally in the Washington D.C. Metro Area (D.C., Maryland, Virginia). Candidates outside the DMV area must confirm their willingness to travel if required for occasional on-site work (2-3 times/year).
About the Role:
Viderity is seeking an experienced Communications and Engagement Specialist who will lead strategies and projects to communicate and engage with targeted audience groups for their government client.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have experience shaping and executing strategic communications plans and coordinating in-person and virtual events. The candidate should also be comfortable engaging with external audiences; developing content including web copy, graphics, and advertisements; having a strong eye for detail and experience copyediting; and bringing creativity and fresh ideas to everything they do. The ideal candidate is committed to maintaining high-quality standards and is proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement.
