Summary

Lincoln Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a Communications and Content Specialist, supporting our corporate headquarters and global employee communications team. We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and proactive storyteller with a passion for writing and an eye for creating visually engaging content. This role will be responsible for driving our internal content strategy and delivering compelling content that engages employees and strengthens Lincoln Electric’s culture.

Job Responsibilities

• Write and edit engaging, high-quality content for diverse communications channels (e.g. blogs, email, intranet and digital signage) and global audiences.
• Create editorial and content calendars to ensure a consistent flow of content across key internal communications channels and platforms.
• Develop and execute content for global internal communications campaigns that align with the company’s business strategy and priorities.
• Foster and implement storytelling initiatives to showcase the company’s culture, employee achievements and enhance organizational pride.
• Monitor content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize engagement with target audiences.
• Collaborate and closely with key stakeholders including HR, IT, Finance/IR to ensure all internal content is clear, consistent, and aligned with the company’s goals and values.
• Partner with design, photography, and video teams to create visually appealing content that meets the company’s brand guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to optimize and improve internal content processes and procedures.
  
  

Job Requirements

• 5-7 years of proven experience in content creation with a strong focus on writing. A focus on internal communications and employee engagement is a plus.
• Proficiency managing a global content operations platform and analytics tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box.
• Proficiency with AP style writing.
• PRSA and IABC Certification(s) perferred
• Must be able to provide a portfolio/sample of previous work
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• Experience with employer branding.
• Experience with Canva or similar design tools or similar graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite)
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative work and various content types (written, visual, video)
• Experience managing and maintaining internal communication tools is a plus (internal email software, intranet, etc.)
