Job summary

Commute Seattle, affiliated with the Downtown Seattle Association, seeks a Communications Advisor to support a national Transportation Demand Management program. You will create content for blogs, newsletters, emails, and social channels to promote transit and sustainable travel.

You will work with the Executive Director and Deputy Director to develop communications, manage a content calendar, and support SDOT and King County Metro contracts while advancing equity.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing and editing with AP style proficiency.
• Ability to write for multiple channels and audiences.
• Experience with content tools (WordPress, Mailchimp, Canva) and CRMs.

Responsibilities

• Create content for newsletters, blogs, websites, and social channels.
• Manage WordPress content and update the site regularly.
• Develop and publish monthly resource one-sheets and case studies.
• Plan multi-channel communications campaigns with KPI tracking.
