Job summary

James Babcock Inc. Electrical Contractors is seeking a Low Voltage Communication Technician to install cabling and equipment for security, access control, CCTV, and other low voltage systems in Indiana. This long-term, family-like company promotes quality workmanship and timely project completion.

Typical hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with 40+ hours weekly and overtime opportunities. We offer benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, PTO, paid training,

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 3 years of low-voltage electrical experience.
• NICET or BICSI certification is beneficial but not required.
• Completion of a trade school is preferred.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.
• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs. with help as required.
• Drug testing is required.

Job Summary:

Install low voltage cabling and equipment for communication, access control, CCTV, fire alarms, intrusion detection, sound systems, fiber optics, and other low voltage systems while maintaining high quality and timely job performance.

Working Hours:

6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, 40+ hours per week, overtime is available

Pay Scale:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour depending upon experience + Bonuses.
