Mission Health is seeking a Communications Specialist EMS in Asheville, NC. This role supports ground and air ambulance transport requests, coordinating transport modes and relaying critical information to teams on the move.
The position features 12-hour shifts (7a–7p or 7p–7a) with a weekly weekend shift requirement, joining a mission-driven healthcare network in the mountains of western North Carolina.

Role Summary: Receives ground and air ambulance transport requests, coordinates the appropriate mode of transport and communicates pertinent information accordingly.
Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Basic computer and keyboard skills required. Knowledgeable in medical terminology.
Preferred Experience: CNA, EMT, EMS, or Fire
Preferred Certification: EMT, AEMT or Paramedic
