Job summary

Mission Health is seeking an Air Transport Comms Specialist to coordinate ground and air ambulance transport and relay pertinent information to the appropriate teams. This 12-hour shift role offers 7a–7p or 7p–7a schedules with a weekend shift each week.

Requires High School diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of medical terminology; preferred: CNA, EMT, EMS or Fire, EMT/AEMT or Paramedic certification. This position is based in Asheville, North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Ground and air ambulance transport coordination experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent; basic computer skills; knowledge of medical terminology.
• CNA, EMT, EMS or Fire experience and EMT/AEMT/Paramedic certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives ground and air ambulance transport requests and coordinates the appropriate mode of transport.
• Communicates pertinent information to the transporting teams and stakeholders.
