Henry Ford Health System seeks a Communications Center dispatcher at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital. The role supports paging, directory inquiries, and after-hour answering services across HFHS facilities.
Responsibilities include dispatching emergencies, maintaining paging systems, and assisting internal/external customers. Requires a high school diploma and basic computer/data skills; college business coursework preferred.
Shift: Varied shift position. Team members are expected to work all 3 shifts, including days, afternoons, and midnights, based on department needs. Schedules are posted in advance, and weekend and holiday coverage is required as part of hospital operations.
Under general supervision, utilizing telephony integrated computer system with specialized software to provide assistancewith: HFHS directory, pager communications, on-call operations, and after-hour physician answering service.
High School Diploma or equivalent
One year of computer technology, data entry, and work processing skills.
One year of college course work in Business is preferred.
