Haalufa USA, Inc. is seeking a Communications and Outreach Project Manager to lead the DMV-area initiatives in DC/MD/VA.

The role emphasizes managing timelines, budgets, and content for public participation efforts, while ensuring Title VI and client compliance across materials and deadlines. The position requires a BA in communications or related field with at least six years in communications project management; bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for all facets of communications and outreach project management, including timeline development, interpreting, preparing and reviewing content, creating task orders and scopes of work for the procurement process, managing deadlines and budget, reviewing invoices, coordinator outreach staff and logistics and other tasks applicable to implementing plans following the Public Participation Plan.
• Work with department point-of-contacts, project managers and other staff to confirm Title VI and Client’s Compact compliance and ensure all materials and deadlines meet the appropriate standards.
• Write, edit, review and produce high-quality public communications materials and professional reports for Title VI, Board of Directors and other submittals.
• Maintain tracking, recordkeeping and other documentation as required by the FTA and PPP, including updating and maintaining the PPP database.
• Develop training programs, which may include, but are not limited to, internal staff training for Public Participation Plan efforts or project-specific outreach team training.
• Serve as a brand ambassador at a wide variety of outreach events and meetings, which includes giving presentations, building stakeholder relationships, distributing surveys and all other communication methods.

Education Requirements:

• B.A. in Communications, Public Affairs/Public Relations, Business, Planning or a related field.
• Minimum of six years of experience of progressively responsible experience in communications project management, preferable in a large service organization setting.
• Bilingual skills a plus.

About this position:

• Standard hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one (1) hour unpaid lunch break. Temporary personnel may require to work six (6) hours or more. Overtime in excess of forty (40) hours in one week is considered as overtime work, all overtime must be approved by the COTR in advance. Any assignment will be contingent upon a successfully completion of a background check, in accordance with applicable law.
