Job summary

VEIR in Woburn, MA is seeking a Commodity Manager to own sourcing and supplier management for the Liquid Nitrogen cooling system. You will drive multi-sourcing, supplier development, and agreements to reduce lead times and ensure robust production readiness.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Finance to qualify suppliers, lead audits, and support PPAP and CTQ specs. This role includes travel for supplier visits and a multi-year sourcing roadmap for scale-up.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in supply chain, commodity management or strategic sourcing
• Technical/cryogenics background preferred
• Experience with RFIs/RFQs alongside engineering teams
• Familiarity with PPAP and NPIs for production readiness
• Willingness to travel for supplier visits/audits

Responsibilities

• Own sourcing strategy for LIN cooling system components (pumps, skids, vessels)
• Develop RFQs with engineering; manage supplier qualification and audits
• Drive multi-sourcing to reduce long lead times; manage supplier capacity
• Lead supplier agreements, pricing structures, and commercial terms
• Build supplier scorecards and manage ramp with QA and logistics
