Job summary

It requires an Associate’s degree or higher, solid Excel skills, and customer service experience. The position involves data handling, reporting, and cross-team coordination with Accounting and Broker Operations, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or above.
• Basic understanding of insurance and agent relationship.
• Basic understanding of the commission process.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Experience in accounting or finance is a plus.
• One year of customer service and/or data entry experience.
• Good attention to detail.
• Good analytical skills.
• Able to work at a fast-pace.
• Good communication skills, especially over the phone.
• Good customer service skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Administer the full commission process from reports to payments.
• Download, format, import, verify commission reports.
• Upload reports to the Ritter Agent Payment system.
• Coordinate payment processing with the Accounting Manager.
• Provide formatted reports per accounting requirements.
• Perform manual calculations for quarterly allowances.
• Review agent debt and include in debt collection when necessary.
• Work with the RAP developer to provide testing and feedback in system releases.
• Resolve escalated commission issues with the Broker Operations team.
• Provide customer service to agents via phone, email, and in person.
• Create Service Requests (SRs) to track agent issues.
• Provide full circle customer service to verify issues are addressed.
• Cross-train on various duties.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor.
