Job summary

Simplicity Group, headquartered in Summit, New Jersey, is seeking a highly detail-oriented Compensation Associate to join our fast-growing Commissions team. This full-time in-office position supports the organization by processing compensation data, reconciling financial reports, and resolving inquiries.

You will handle daily commission data, ensure data accuracy, maintain documentation, and support audits with internal and external professionals. Strong Excel and Salesforce experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in finance, insurance, accounting or business is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Finance, economics, business, mathematics or similar)
• Strong math skills and analytical thinking skills.
• Industry Knowledge - brings relevant background in finance, insurance, or accounting to support role effectiveness.
• Detail orientated and comfortable working with large data sets in excel.
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak processing periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process daily commission data, including statements and payout cycles, using standard templates or third-party systems.
• Reconcile financial records and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate and balanced ledger entries.
• Maintain accurate client and compensation records, including setup, review, and electronic documentation of financial accounts.
• Review, upload and enter commission data into Salesforce and maintain accurate, trackable records of commissions and supporting data.
• Respond to and resolve compensation-related inquiries from internal team members and external financial professionals in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance by reviewing, storing, and auditing compensation documentation.
• Support audit readiness by preparing and organizing documentation for third-party financial audits.
