Job summary

TLC Engineering Solutions in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Commissioning Specialist to support all sizes of projects. You will work from design review through functional testing, with mentorship for complex projects and opportunities for growth.

The role emphasizes independent work on smaller projects, a strong focus on building systems, and a career path with training at all levels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive experience in MEP design / construction administration, commissioning, building operations, test and balance technician, DDC controls technician, or related experience.
• LEED accreditation preferred
• Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Computer hardware/software/network expertise as appropriate
• Ability to execute building commissioning and retro-commissioning tasks
• Commissioning Certification preferred (ACG CxT or CxA)
• Willingness to travel more than 50%

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning tasks on varied projects with potential for independent work on smaller projects.
• Receive mentorship for complex projects from seasoned Project Managers and Commissioning Agents.
• Engage from design review through functional testing to ensure project success.
• Support career development and training opportunities within TLC Engineering Solutions
