Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
• Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• In-depth knowledge of commissioning processes and procedures.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other building systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting technical information clearly.
• Proficiency using documentation tools like Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, and PM software.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an efficient document control system for drawings, specs, test reports and procedures.
• Implement control procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards and client requirements.
• Organize and maintain electronic document repositories for easy retrieval.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure documentation aligns with standards and best practices.
• Perform regular quality checks and audits on documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify inconsistencies or discrepancies in documentation promptly and address them.
• Liaise with project managers and engineers to understand requirements and milestones.
• Coordinate submission, review and approval of documents according to project schedules.
• Continuously evaluate and improve document control processes.
• Provide training to teams on document control protocols and best practices.
