As a Commissioning Engineer with Siemens Step 7 SCL and STL experience, you'll lead the implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions, overseeing testing, inspection, and optimization to ensure peak performance. Your role is instrumental in delivering top-tier solutions and upholding our commitment to excellence for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive testing of systems to ensure functionality and performance align with project specifications.
- Verify the installation and configuration of equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and client requirements.
- Identify and implement measures to optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to enhance overall efficiency.
- Generate detailed commissioning reports, documenting test procedures, results, and any deviations from project requirements.
- Work closely with project teams, including design engineers, contractors, and clients, to address issues and ensure seamless project delivery.
- Provide training to clients and end-users on system functionality and maintenance procedures.

Education, License, and Experience
- Must have Siemens Step 7 SCL and STL experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in material handling systems commissioning.
- 2-year degree in a relevant field (electrical engineering technology, mechatronics, computer science, etc). A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is highly preferred.
- Experience in commissioning PLC/VFD/HMI hardware (mostly A-B), Hytrol EZ-Logic, Itoh Denki Driver Cards, safety systems, barcode scanners, network switches, remote access devices (Ewon), and other typical control system hardware.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (NEC, NFPA, OSHA, etc).
- Previous experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- This is a remote position; the ability to work independently and willingness for significant travel is required.
