Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to perform final testing, startup and commissioning of low and medium voltage equipment at field and manufacturing sites. You will contribute to safe project execution and rely on strong electrical knowledge and documentation skills.

The role requires reviewing electrical deliverables, preparing sketches and data sheets, and occasional travel to customer sites. Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2+ years of electrical experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with minimum 2+ years of relevant electrical experience.
• Experience reviewing supplier documentation for compliance with specifications.
• Basic knowledge of commissioning, inspection and testing of electrical components.
• Ability to travel to customer sites periodically.

Responsibilities

• Assists more experienced Commissioning specialist coordinating and reviewing electrical deliverables.
• Prepares and reviews simple electrical sketches, CX plans, and data sheets.
• Performs simple routine electrical calculations.
• Assists in review of supplier documentation for compliance with specifications.
• Uses the electrical engineering web site to access department guides and standards.
• Good communications skills and awareness of industry codes and standards.
• Willing to travel to customer sites periodically.
