Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to perform final testing, startup, and commissioning of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment in field and manufacturing environments. The role requires knowledge of complex electrical test systems and will involve occasional travel to customer sites.

The candidate should have 8+ years of electrical experience with various educational pathways, and possess U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant electrical experience with HS diploma or GED, or 6+ years with an associate's degree, or 2+ years with a Bachelor's degree.
• Valid/active U.S. Work Authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists more experienced Commissioning specialist coordinating and reviewing electrical deliverables.
• Prepares and reviews simple electrical sketches, CX plans, and data sheets.
• Performs simple routine electrical calculations.
• Assists in review of supplier documentation for compliance with specifications.
• Uses department guides and standards on the electrical engineering site.
