Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to support final testing, startup, and commissioning of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment at customer sites and in manufacturing environments. Local and regional travel may be required as part of project support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with minimum 2+ years of relevant electrical experience.
• Knowledge of Commissioning, inspection and Testing of electrical components and system.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assists more experienced Commissioning specialist coordinating, and reviewing electrical deliverables
• Prepares and reviews simple electrical sketches, CX plans, and data sheets
• Performs simple routine electrical calculations
• Assists in review of supplier documentation for compliance with specifications
• Uses the electrical engineering web site to access department guides and standards
• Willing to travel to customer sites periodically
