Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to perform final testing, startup, and commissioning of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment, both in field and manufacturing environments.

You will review drawings, assist with sketches, perform calculations, and support safety and quality on diverse projects, with periodic travel to customer sites. Bachelor's in Engineering with 2+ years electrical experience required; strong writing, math skills, and knowledge of codes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years electrical experience.
• Experience with commissioning, testing, and inspection of electrical components.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites periodically.

Responsibilities

• Assists senior Commissioning specialist coordinating electrical deliverables.
• Prepares and reviews simple electrical sketches, CX plans, and data sheets.
• Performs basic electrical calculations.
• Reviews supplier documentation for specifications compliance.
• Uses department guides and standards from the electrical engineering site.
• Applies knowledge of commissioning and testing of electrical components.
• Communicates clearly with customers and team.
• Travels to customer sites as needed.
