Commissioning Manager – Mechanical/Process (70% Travel – Northeast & Midwest)

As a Commissioning Manager, you’ll play a vital role in launching high-impact clean energy projects that reduce emissions, support regenerative agriculture, and decarbonize the food and farming industries.

What You'll Do:

• Lead execution of commissioning plans, plant startup strategies, and performance acceptance testing for new anaerobic digestion and RNG facilities.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and operations teams to ensure timely and safe project delivery.
• Travel to active development sites (~70% travel focused in the Northeast and Midwest) and oversee all on-site commissioning activities.
• Ensure systems meet project specs and regulatory requirements before turnover to operations.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with field teams and contractors.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Process, or related Engineering discipline.
• 5–10 years of commissioning and/or operations experience in energy, industrial, or infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on experience with instrumentation, controls, or biogas processing systems is a plus.
• Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic field conditions.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%, with extended site stays as needed.
