Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) seeks a Commissioning Agent in Gainesville to lead commissioning activities for complex building projects. You will develop and implement commissioning plans, assess systems, and verify performance across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
You will collaborate with design teams, contractors, and owners to ensure compliance with OPR/BOD, codes and standards, while driving energy efficiency and occupant comfort throughout the project lifecycle.

As a Commissioning Agent in our Gainesville office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.
In this role, you will be responsible for resolving commissioning challenges and completing tasks assigned, including developing and implementing commissioning process delivery plans from information set forth in Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR), Basis of Design (BOD), plans and specification construction documents, as well as information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.
