Job summary

Verizon is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate in California to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service for cutting-edge technology products. You will learn customers' needs, present solutions, and close sales while growing your part-time/full-time customer base through outbound calls and community events.

Starting base pay is $18.27 per hour with potential to earn commissions and a total compensation up to $65,000–$75,500 annually, depending on geography and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant sales experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Open to additional shifts during peak seasons.
• Experience in commission-based environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by leveraging tech expertise and customer service.
• Learn customer needs by asking questions.
• Present product insights and top-down solutions.
• Close sales through effective communication to meet customer needs.
• Develop skills through ongoing training in merchandising and inventory.
• Grow customer base via outbound calls and texts to Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community through off-site Verizon events.
