HomeServices of America is seeking an experienced accounting professional to process commissions and manage related AR/AP activities. You will interact with offices, agents, and staff to resolve issues, provide supervision to assigned staff, and support general ledger tasks.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent, 3+ years of office experience, and knowledge of real estate/ mortgage domains. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent training and work experience.
• Three plus years of professional office experience required.
• Knowledge of real estate, title and/or mortgage business preferred.
• Proficient use of the Internet and various software applications.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, a customer-service focus.
• Ability to work as a member of a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to manage stressful situations in a calm and controlled manner.
• Self-motivated, organized and detail oriented.

Responsabilités

• Process commissions and interact with offices, agents, and staff to resolve commission issues.
• Recommend advancement of funds or extension of agent credit.
• Provide supervision and support to assigned staff.
• Post marketing/invoicing payments to agents' accounts daily and resolve balance questions.
• Supervise accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Assist with general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and payments review.
• Prepare and distribute reports for agent production and closings, assist with month-end metrics.
