Qualifikationen

• Commercial insurance sales experience preferred but not required.
• Active Property & Casualty license preferred; license may be required to perform activities.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance products and underwriting a plus.
• Strong prospecting, communication, negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and generate new business.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sales performance drive.

Aufgaben

• Generate new commercial insurance business through prospecting, cold calling, networking and referrals.
• Identify and develop relationships with business owners, contractors and commercial clients.
• Market and sell commercial insurance products including GL, property, workers' comp, auto and BOP.
• Evaluate clients' needs and recommend coverage options.
• Work with carriers, wholesalers and MGAs for quotes and coverage.
• Prepare proposals, present options and follow up to close sales.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and seek renewal opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline and pursue new business opportunities.
• Keep accurate sales records and follow agency procedures.
