Job summary
Compass Group USA's Canteen division in Sacramento seeks an Associate Director of Business Development to drive new opportunities, support regional sellers, and help shape strategic proposals and contracts. Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a B2B sales environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and CRM tools.
Responsibilities
- Support pursuit and acquisition of new business opportunities.
- Provide dedicated support to a team of high-revenue sellers.
- Identify and research new opportunities across verticals.
- Conduct prospect research using online tools and platforms.
- Assist with proposal, bid development, and strategy sessions.
- Develop presentations and materials with PowerPoint and Excel.
- Utilize AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- Travel as needed (approx. 20–50%).
