Job summary

The Baltimore Sun seeks an Account Executive to drive advertising sales and craft impactful marketing campaigns for local businesses and organizations. You will identify client needs, present tailored proposals, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to post-sale follow-up.

You will collaborate with internal teams to implement strategies, maintain the CRM pipeline, and deliver compelling presentations that highlight campaign benefits and digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) is required.
• Sales experience is a plus, preferably in Print, Digital, or Linear Advertising.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Google Ads and Analytics certification is a plus.
• Self-starter with a hunter mentality.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new accounts; create proposals; close sales; manage client expectations.
• Analyze client objectives to tailor ad solutions within budgets and goals.
• Own full sales and retention cycle; collaborate with internal teams and operations.
• Maintain a robust CRM pipeline, provide forecasts, and meet/exceed quotas.
• Develop impactful sales presentations using market data to demonstrate benefits.
