Job summary

RYZE is seeking a Manufacturing Scale-Up Engineer to translate bench formulas into reliable, full-scale production across co-manufacturers. You will own transitioning new formulas from R&D to first production and sustain them in steady-state operations, ensuring equipment compatibility and process control.

You will partner with R&D, sensory, and quality teams to define site-specific standards, support site audits (SQF, BRC), and build trusted relationships with manufacturing partners while

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree plus 8 years of experience in manufacturing or related field.
• Experience spanning R&D/formulation scale-up and hands-on plant support.
• Working knowledge of blending and processing equipment.
• Direct experience with SQF and BRC audits.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust with manufacturing partners.
• Willingness to travel to assigned manufacturing sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own the transition of new formulas from bench to first production at co-manufacturers.
• Ensure process and equipment transfer for reliable full-scale production.
• Collaborate with R&D, sensory, and quality teams to set site-specific standards.
• Lead handoff from trial to steady-state production while maintaining SKU ownership.
• Support site audits (SQF, BRC) and help ensure corrective actions are effective.
• Cultivate strong relationships with co-manufacturers and drive issue resolution.
