Job summary

Reading Truck is seeking a Truck Installation Technician in Arlington, TX to install truck bodies, plows, and commercial accessories. You’ll mount hitches, shelves, ladder racks, and other components, with basic welding experience appreciated as you work under a Shop Supervisor.

Candidates should have 2+ years welding and electrical wiring experience, with the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot independently. Power tools and basic personal tools are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of welding skills (metal and aluminum).
• 2+ years of electrical wiring experience.
• Ability to build schematics.
• Hydraulics knowledge and experience (a plus).
• Independent ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to operate power hand tools (and have basic tools).

Responsibilities

• Install truck bodies, plows, commercial truck accessories.
• Mount hitches, shelves, drawers, ladder racks, mud flaps, etc.
• Basic weld experience (helpful).
• Train with other mechanics as needed.
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
