Reading Truck in Houston, TX is seeking a Truck Installation Technician to install specialty truck equipment under the Shop Supervisor. You will fit truck bodies, plows, hitches and other commercial accessories, mounting components and aligning assemblies.

You will follow safety rules, use power hand tools, and train with other mechanics as needed. Reading Truck offers a strong benefits package and employee development opportunities across North America.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Basic welding skills, electrical wiring, hydraulics, etc.
• Ability to operate power hand tools (and have basic tools).

Responsibilities

• Install truck bodies, plows, commercial truck accessories
• Mount hitches, shelves, drawers, ladder racks, mud flaps, etc.
• Train with other mechanics as needed
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager
