Join us as a Commercial Truck Sales/Account Manager at Rechtien Trucks

Founded in 1981, Rechtien International Trucks, Inc. is a South Florida truck dealership specializing in sales, parts, and service for commercial vehicles. Our facilities include over 50 service bays, a parts inventory exceeding $10 million, and five locations in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Riviera Beach, Ft. Pierce, and Fort Myers. We are an authorized dealer for International trucks, Hino, Ottawa yard spotter tractors, and an IC Bus parts and service center. Additionally, we are an Idealease affiliate offering full-service truck leasing, rentals, and maintenance.

Position Overview

We are seeking a result-driven and experienced Salesperson/Account Manager to join our Miami team. The ideal candidate will focus on driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Selling and delivering vehicles to customers.
  • Managing and expanding existing client accounts through effective relationship building.
  • Generating leads via cold calling and networking.
  • Negotiating sales contracts and agreements.
  • Preparing sales orders and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Staying informed about our products, services, and industry developments.
  • Assisting customers on the dealership lot.
  • Identifying new business opportunities.
  • Following up on internal leads and explaining product features and benefits.
  • Presenting optional equipment and closing deals.
  • Ensuring smooth vehicle delivery and customer understanding of features and paperwork.
  • Following up post-delivery to meet customer expectations.
  • Participating in sales meetings and maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; or related experience/training.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
Qualifications
  • Prior sales experience, preferably with mid/heavy-duty trucks and International brands.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
