Job summary

Relativity seeks a Counsel, Commercial Transactions to advise on a broad range of customer-facing and strategic commercial agreements in a high‑volume environment. You will draft, review and negotiate software, SaaS, cloud services and AI‑enabled offerings, partnering with Sales, Finance, Security, and Procurement to enable growth while managing risk.

You will help scale contracting processes, advise on strategic pricing, and leverage AI legal tech to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Intelligence, flexibility, creativity, diligence, responsiveness, and strong communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer, procurement, strategic commercial negotiations, and technology-related legal work by drafting, reviewing and negotiating software, SaaS and hybrid, cloud services, AI-related offerings, and strategic partnership agreements.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, security, IT and compliance teams to provide timely deliverables and problem-solve while managing stakeholder and customer communications.
• Provide legal advice and business counsel on commercial, and operational legal issues, with timely and accurate responses and negotiation of a high volume of contracts.
• Identify issues and propose solutions, drive process improvements and standard forms aligned to product requirements.
• Leverage AI legal technology tools to increase efficiency and adapt to new tools as needed.
• Support pricing initiatives, pricing governance projects, and commercial model optimization with Finance and Global Business Operations.
