Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Counsel, Commercial Transactions to support its commercial contracting function and strategic business initiatives. You will draft, review, and negotiate software, SaaS and cloud service agreements, including AI-enabled offerings and data processing arrangements.

The role partners with Sales, Security, Finance and other stakeholders to drive growth, manage risk, and build scalable contracting processes while leveraging AI tools and MS Office in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Active bar membership in good standing.
Experience negotiating SaaS, software, cloud services, professional services, data processing, and enterprise commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

Lead customer, procurement, strategic commercial negotiations and technology-related legal work by drafting, reviewing and negotiating software, SaaS, cloud services, AI-related offerings, and strategic partnership agreements.
Provide legal advice and business counsel on commercial and operational legal issues, with timely responses and negotiation of a high volume of contracts.
Engage with customers to ensure they feel listened to and deliver outcomes.
Suggest and implement process improvements in standard forms and variations.
Support pricing initiatives and governance projects with Finance and Business Ops.
Prioritize contracts in the internal approval workflow and respond to stakeholder questions.
