Job summary

NFI, a long-standing logistics company in Ohio, seeks a skilled trailer technician to perform routine maintenance and diagnose electrical, suspension, and brake systems. You will document service records and communicate clearly with customers on-site.

We offer an hourly rate of $22–$26, a $2,000 sign-on bonus, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO from day one, boot allowance, uniforms, and ongoing ASE reimbursement with study support.

Qualifications

• Requires diagnostic proficiency with JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, multimeters, and Windows.
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving ability and teamwork/customer service skills.
• Clear oral and written communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations).
• Troubleshoot electrical, suspension, and brake systems on trailers.
• Repair/replace tires, brakes, and suspension parts.
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
• Document accurate, thorough service records.
• Engage customers with clear, professional communication.
• Champion safety protocols at all times.
