Job summary

First American is seeking a Title Underwriting Assistant/Commercial Title Assistant to support underwriting activities and review title documentation for complex commercial real estate transactions from our Philadelphia/Pittsburgh area offices.

You will collaborate with underwriters, attorneys, lenders, customers and internal teams to resolve title matters and ensure timely, accurate completion of transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ALTA title insurance policy forms, commitments, endorsements, and coverages, including Owner’s and Loan Policies.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial title and underwriting activities, including reviewing title searches, commitments, surveys, recorded documents, legal descriptions, endorsements, and other transaction-related documentation.
