Purcell Tire and Service Centers is seeking a Commercial Tire Technician in Anchorage to service customer tire needs and perform replacements with safety and quality. The role emphasizes ongoing training, proper tool use, and professional growth within a safety-focused team.

You will dismount, mount, balance, rotate, and replace tires, while maintaining the shop and looking for process improvements to enhance service quality. Drug testing applies due to safety-sensitive duties.

Qualifications

• 6 months of commercial tire experience required
• Valid driver’s license
• 3-yr Clean MVR with No DUIs

Responsabilités

• Commit to continual improvement, training & professional growth
• Perform commercial tire and wheel replacements and installations
• Dismount wheels using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools
• Repair, balance, rotate, mount, and replacement of tires/wheels
• Perform basic facility maintenance, shop clean up, and organization
• Look for opportunities to improve our products & services
• Other essential and non-essential duties as assigned by management

• Valid driver’s license

**Purcell Tire tests for the presence of THC in all drug screenings for this position, due to the safety-sensitive nature of the job and the potential for injury or death when a tire is installed improperly or a safety-related mechanical issue is not properly conveyed to a customer. It is a bona fide occupational qualification for service technicians to be unimpaired, so the Company will continue testing for THC and other drugs under the safety-sensitive exceptions allowed by your state.
