Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is hiring tire technicians to install and maintain tires and wheels, and to perform rotations, inflations, balancing, TPMS calibration, and battery testing. The role requires a valid driver's license, strong customer service, and physical stamina to lift 35-75 pounds.

You will operate and maintain equipment and assist other staff. Offsite and emergency road service experience is aPlus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required and must deliver excellent customer service.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting of 35-75 pounds; regular bending, twisting, kneeling and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain tires and wheels.
• Repair, rotate, and inflate tires; attach and rebalance wheels.
• Install/rebuild and calibrate TPMS; wash tires and wheels; test batteries.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels
• repairing, rotating, and inflating tires
• attaching and rebalancing wheels
• installing/rebuilding and/or relearning/calibrating TPMS
• washing tires and wheels
• testing and installing batteries
• using and maintenance of equipment
• assisting other employees
• test driving vehicles
• and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services

Experience:

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, with on-the job training.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license; excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment; frequent lifting of weight between 35-75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Pay and Benefits:

$16.50 - $28.00 For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:
