Job summary

Purcell Tire and Service Centers is seeking a reliable Pickup & Delivery Driver in Reno, NV. You will receive, deliver, and pick up tires, retreads, wheels, and related products, while maintaining a safe, organized work truck and following all safety protocols.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean MVR, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. Forklift certification is a plus, with advancement opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Clean 3-yr MVR with no DUIs.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background & drug screen.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to lift, pull, or push heavy objects.
• Previous delivery driver and/or tire experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of tire inventory to/from local area customers.
• Operate a forklift and related equipment to sort, stack, & identify tires.
• Maintain work truck clean and organized.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols.
• Protect company assets (inventory, receivables, equip & real estate).
• Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management.

What You Need:

DRUG TESTING

Purcell Tire tests for the presence of THC in all drug screenings for this position, due to the safety-sensitive nature of the job and the potential for injury or death when a tire is installed improperly or a safety-related mechanical issue is not properly conveyed to a customer. It is a bona fide occupational qualification for service technicians to be unimpaired, so the Company will continue testing for THC and other drugs under the safety-sensitive exceptions allowed by your state.
