Job summary

Purcell Tire & Service Centers is seeking a dedicated Pickup & Delivery Driver in Reno, NV. You will receive, deliver, and pick up tires, retreads, wheels, and related products, supporting local customers with accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires a valid driver's license, a clean MVR, and the ability to pass a background and drug screen. Forklift certification is encouraged for growth and safety on the job.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Clean 3-yr MVR with no DUIs
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background & drug screen
• Ability to obtain forklift certification
• Ability to lift, pull, or push heavy objects
• Previous delivery driver and/or tire experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of tire inventory to/from local area customers
• Operate a forklift and related equipment to sort, stack, & identify tires
• Maintain work truck clean and organized
• Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols
• Protect company assets (inventory, receivables, equip & real estate).
• Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management

DRUG TESTING

Purcell Tire tests for the presence of THC in all drug screenings for this position, due to the safety-sensitive nature of the job and the potential for injury or death when a tire is installed improperly or a safety-related mechanical issue is not properly conveyed to a customer. It is a bona fide occupational qualification for service technicians to be unimpaired, so the Company will continue testing for THC and other drugs under the safety-sensitive exceptions allowed by your state.
