Job summary

Purcell Tire and Service Centers is seeking a Pickup & Delivery Driver to receive, deliver, and pick up tires, retreads, wheels, and related products. The role includes operating a forklift, keeping the vehicle clean, and adhering to safety protocols.

Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean 3-year MVR with no DUIs, and be able to pass a background and drug screen. Prior tire/delivery experience is preferred and forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to lift, pull, or push heavy objects.
• Previous delivery driver or tire experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of tire inventory to/from local area customers.
• Operate a forklift and related equipment to sort, stack, and identify tires.
• Maintain work truck clean and organized.
• Follow OSHA and company safety protocols.
• Protect company assets (inventory, receivables, equipment & real estate).
• Other essential and non-essential duties as assigned by management.

What You Need

DRUG TESTING

• Purcell Tire tests for the presence of THC in all drug screenings for this position, due to the safety-sensitive nature of the job and the potential for injury or death when a tire is installed improperly or a safety-related mechanical issue is not properly conveyed to a customer. It is a bona fide occupational qualification for service technicians to be unimpaired, so the Company will continue testing for THC and other drugs under the safety-sensitive exceptions allowed by your state.
