Job summary

Hire Consulting Services is seeking a Superintendent for Commercial TI/Buildout projects in the Nashville area. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling with project managers, budget control, and coordinating subcontractors from design through completion.

Projects span restaurant, retail, commercial office and hospitality TI construction. Strong emphasis on communication, documentation, and on-site leadership to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in a commercial construction onsite-management role.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and sites while interfacing with inspectors, subs, architects, designers, engineers, city officials, and clients.
• Proactive management of schedules and budgets.
• Experience in subcontractor negotiations and project estimation.
• Sage Construction Software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain open, proactive communication with client, subs & staff.
• Keep organization precise with detailed planning and tracking.
• Manage day-to-day subcontractor operations.
• Supervise craft employees: assign tasks, review productivity, escalate as needed.
• Ensure work follows the Reverse Phase Schedule with quality/value.
