Job summary

Engelberth Construction in Colchester, VT is seeking an experienced Taper/Painter to deliver high-quality finished surfaces on commercial projects. You will tape, mud, sand, prime, and paint, while maintaining safety, quality, and a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Previous professional painting and/or drywall finishing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of taping, mudding, sanding, surface preparation, and painting techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to safely use ladders, lifts, hand tools, and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license to travel to various commercial construction project locations.

Responsibilities

• Taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing drywall.
• Preparing walls, ceilings, and other surfaces for painting.

Key Responsibilities

As a Taper/Painter, you will be responsible for producing high-quality finished surfaces. Responsibilities may include:

• Taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing drywall
• Preparing walls, ceilings, and other surfaces for painting
• Applying primer, paint, and other finishes

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $26 - $36/hour -This position is eligible for additional compensation through our quarterly bonus program equivalent to $1 – $3 an hour in addition to wages worked in previous quarter.
