GARNERS HOME SERVICES LLC in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a skilled painter to perform exterior and interior painting for residential and light commercial projects. You will prep surfaces, apply coatings, and ensure a professional finish that meets customer expectations.

The ideal candidate has experience in residential or commercial painting, a valid driver's license with reliable transportation to move between sites, and strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
• Inspect paint jobs for quality
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment
