Mediacom Communications is seeking a Commercial Support Specialist I to deliver top-tier service to our business clients by phone and email, handling billing questions, outages, and product support for Mediacom Hosted Wi-Fi and Static IP services. You will troubleshoot issues, create trouble tickets, and stay current on commercial offerings while maintaining professional, customer-centric communication.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Previous inbound call center or Helpdesk experience preferred.
Proficiency with Windows operating system.
Knowledge of networking terms such as Static IP, MAC Address, VPN and Wi‑Fi preferred.

Responsibilities

Answer inbound commercial customer service calls for Mediacom’s business clients.
Resolve billing questions or service interruptions through troubleshooting.
Enter trouble tickets or contact Field Support personnel as needed.
Maintain working knowledge of all commercial products, services, and promotions to communicate options to customers.
Foster excellent customer relations with a one-call resolution approach.
Make informed recommendations on service solutions to meet customer business needs.
Monthly bonus potential based on call performance and customer satisfaction scores.
Additional earning potential from on-the-job training courses; non-sales commission available.
Shifts vary with flexible scheduling including some evenings, weekends, and holiday hours; overtime may be necessary.
