Martin Commercial Properties Ltd. is seeking a Traveling Project Superintendent to lead ground-up self storage projects across the United States.

This hands-on role requires strong on-site leadership, safety excellence, and the ability to manage multiple sites as projects evolve from dirt to delivery. The ideal candidate will travel regionally and nationally, oversee subcontractors, and ensure projects meet time, budget, and safety targets using tools like Procore and Bluebeam, along with MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a construction-related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction.
• Proven safety leadership with incident-free projects.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities for ground-up projects.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, and quality control; adjust as needed.
• Resolve on-site issues and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Travel extensively to multiple project sites nationwide.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field

3+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction

Strong safety leadership with incident-free record

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

We're expanding our team and seeking a dynamic Traveling Project Superintendent to lead ground-up Self Storage projects nationwide. Job Summary

As a Commercial Superintendent, you'll oversee ground up commercial projects across the nation. This role requires extensive travel, strong on-site leadership, and a passion for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage subcontractors, and drive project success from dirt to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities for ground-up, including site preparation, foundation work, structural erection, and finishing.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality control, implementing adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.
• Resolve on-site issues promptly, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Travel extensively (regional and national) to multiple project sites, adapting to varying locations and conditions.

Required Qualifications

• Strong background in safety leadership with a demonstrated record of compliance and incident-free projects.
• Willingness and ability to travel regionally and nationally.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software ("e.g., Procore, Bluebeam") and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points!)

• Experience in industrial, tilt-wall, or big-box retail construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour, LEED, or similar.
• 3+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction.
