Job summary

Jobot in Wyoming is seeking a Permanent Commercial Superintendent to lead ground-up and renovation projects across healthcare, aviation, hospitality, and K-12 sectors. The role requires strong on-site leadership, safety enforcement, and coordination of self-perform teams to deliver complex facilities.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in commercial superintendent roles, a relevant degree, and proven ability to manage multi-discipline teams while maintaining quality and schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Superintendent on ground-up/renovation projects.
• Experience across healthcare, aviation, hospitality, and K-12 sectors.
• Strong knowledge of concrete work and construction methods.
• Proven ability to manage field operations and self-perform teams.
• Familiar with OHSA 10-HR safety guidelines and safety culture.
• Excellent leadership, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from ground-up to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members.
• Enforce OHSA 10-HR safety protocols on-site.
• Conduct site inspections for progress, codes, and safety.
• Collaborate with PMs, architects, engineers to resolve issues.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and logs.
• Guide self-perform work teams and ensure quality.

Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Commercial Superintendent to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge base encompassing the various sectors we serve, including healthcare/Medical, aviation, hospitality, and K-12 education. Our projects range from healthcare facilities and medical offices to detention centers and high-rise buildings, and we require a professional who can handle the diverse challenges and opportunities these projects present.

Responsibilities

• 1. Overseeing all on-site construction activities, from initial groundwork to final inspection, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• 2. Coordinating and supervising the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and other project team members.
• 3. Implementing and enforcing safety protocols in accordance with OHSA 10-HR guidelines, ensuring a safe and secure working environment for all team members.
• 4. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
• 5. Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
• 6. Preparing and maintaining detailed project documentation, including progress reports, site logs, and safety records.
• 7. Guiding the self-perform work teams and ensuring the quality of their work.

Qualifications

• Built in Wyoming or currently live there.
• 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Superintendent in the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects.
• 2. Extensive experience in a variety of sectors, including healthcare, aviation, hospitality, and K-12 education. Experience in detention center construction will be an added advantage.
• 3. Strong knowledge of concrete work and other construction methods and materials.
• 4. Proficiency in managing field operations and self-perform work teams.
• 5. A solid understanding of OHSA 10-HR safety guidelines and a commitment to promoting a culture of safety on the job site.
• 6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and make sound decisions under pressure.
• 7. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to perform at their best.
• 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
• 9. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
