Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a Milford, CT-based commercial electrical contractor with a growing solar division. You will oversee large-scale commercial and municipal solar projects from contract through completion, coordinating schedule, budget, subs, procurement, and utility coordination.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in related construction, strong NEC knowledge, and comfort working across multiple sites in CT.

Competenze

4+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, electrical construction, or utility-scale solar.
Strong understanding of NEC and electrical construction practices.
Experience managing projects exceeding 500 kW preferred.
Experience with municipal contracts and public bid work preferred.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and electrical schematics.
Strong budgeting and cost control experience.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Mansioni

Manage multiple commercial and municipal solar projects across Connecticut.
Lead project kickoff meetings and establish execution plans.
Develop and maintain project schedules (critical path, long lead items, utility coordination timelines).
Manage procurement of major equipment including modules, inverters, switchgear, transformers, and balance of system materials.
Coordinate with utilities for interconnection, witness testing, and approvals.
Track project budgets and monitor costs to ensure margin targets are maintained.
Review and manage subcontracts and vendor agreements.
Submit and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documentation.
Coordinate with engineering and field teams to ensure design intent is executed correctly.
Oversee permitting and inspection processes.
Manage project billing milestones and support O&M transition at project completion.
Maintain organized project documentation and reporting.
Identify and mitigate risks early in the project lifecycle.
