Job summary

United Future is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial and municipal solar projects in Connecticut from contract to completion. This role requires hands-on leadership of schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and utility coordination in a fast-paced construction environment.

You will collaborate with utilities, municipalities, engineers, and field teams to ensure design intent is met, maintain meticulous project documentation, and pursue margin targets while

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, electrical construction, or utility-scale solar.
• Strong budgeting and cost control experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with municipal contracts and public bid work preferred.
• NEC knowledge and electrical construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large-scale commercial and municipal solar projects from contract execution through final completion.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and procurement across multiple sites.
• Coordinate with utilities for interconnection, testing, and approvals.
• Lead kickoff meetings and establish clear execution plans.
• Maintain project documentation, reporting, and subcontractor oversight.
