CORE Group is seeking a Commercial Solar Inspector for a short on-site assignment at a 1 MW DC commercial solar site in East Gate, NJ. The role centers on verifying that field installation aligns with design docs and industry standards, with emphasis on rapid shutdown devices.

You will review design documentation, perform a focused visual QA of AP rapid shutdown devices, wire management, and DC terminations on Sungrow inverters, and produce a brief engineering report.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Commercial Solar Inspector for a short-duration, on-site assignment supporting a 1 MW DC operational commercial solar site in East Gate, NJ. This role focuses on verifying that field installation aligns with design documentation and applicable industry standards, with emphasis on rapid shutdown devices and DC terminations. The engagement is planned as a 1-day site visit, targeted to occur within the next 1–2 weeks, and concludes with a brief inspection/engineering report.

Responsibilities

• Review design documentation and compare it to the on-site installation.
• Perform a focused visual/QA inspection of AP smart Rapid Shutdown Devices and wire management.
• Inspect DC terminations at Sungrow inverters.
• Produce a brief engineering/inspection report stating that the Rapid Shutdown Devices and DC terminations were installed and wired to relevant industry standards.

Requirements

• Ability to review design documentation against field installation conditions.
• Experience performing visual/QA inspections on commercial solar installations.
